WebKit layout engine used is a web browser to render a web page. Engine WebKit provides a set of classes to display web content in windows, and implement a browser feature where when a link is clicked by the user, manage and forth a list of pages, and a history of recently visited pages.
History
WebKit was originally derived by Apple Inc. from the Konqueror browser's KHTML engine in Safari as a web browser and has now been further developed by KDE, Apple Inc., Nokia, Google, Bitstream, Torch Mobile, Samsung, etc..
